Eric Uyttewaal, PMP, MVP Project

Eric is one of the foremost trainers and authors on the use of Microsoft Project and Enterprise Project Management (EPM) applications. He authored the book 'Dynamic Scheduling with Microsoft Office Project 2003' and will publish 'Forecast Scheduling with Microsoft Project 2010'.
Eric is President of ProjectPro Corp, a company specializing in Microsoft Project, Project Server and Portfolio Server. Formerly, he was Executive Director, Microsoft EPM Division at the International Institute for Learning (IIL) in New York. At IIL, he developed and managed the White, Orange, Blue and Black Belt certification curriculum in Microsoft Project and Project Server.
Eric has managed many organizational change and management development projects.  He has been involved in projects and programs ranging from a few thousand dollars to $150 million. The latter project was for the Canadian Forces Supply System Upgrade Project.  Eric was responsible for overall schedule reporting using Microsoft Project 95 with 9,600 tasks.
Eric has presented in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe, China and South-Korea. In 1997, he was President of the Ottawa Chapter of PMI. From 2000 until 2004, he was and again since 2009 he is president of the MPUG-Ottawa chapter (Microsoft Project Users Group). In April of 2010, he was awarded 'MVP Project' (Most Valuable Professional) by Microsoft. In May of 2009, Eric received an award from PMI for his 'Significant Contributions to the Scheduling Profession'. These contributions are books, articles, certifications and new concepts like: 'Principle of Dynamic Scheduling' (When one thing changes in your project, your schedule should be set up in such a way that you should have to update only one cell in your schedule), the 'Resource-Critical Path' (see books listed under Products), 'Dynamic Due Dates' (see article 'Scheduling is not about chronology; it is about logic' listed on this website under Articles), Earlier-Than dependencies (see same article listed on this website under Articles) and the 1%-10% rule to establish a proper level of detail in project schedules (see books listed under Products).

Cindy Goehring picture

Cindy Goehring

Cindy Goehring is a senior instructor and consultant in Microsoft Project and Project Server. Her experience with MS Project varies over a wide range of industries including telecommunications, information technology, finance, government, oil and gas and many more. As a consultant, Cindy has helped organizations implement best practices for utilizing the tool and has also been responsible for creating and tracking various projects for clients.

Cindy has been successfully teaching project managers to create and track their schedules in MS Project for more than ten years.  She uses an informal and relaxed approach to learning that not only keeps students engaged but also helps them apply what they have learned to their own project schedules. Cindy’s dynamic presence has proven to be successful in both classroom and online learning.

Hilary Wade

Hilary Wade

Hilary Wade is a senior instructor and consultant in Microsoft Project and Project Server. Her experience with MS Project includes over 18 years conducting instructor-led and online MS Project and Project Server classes and providing consulting services for a wide variety of industry-leading companies, most recently with Amgen Corporation and Northrop Grumman.

Prior to joining ProjectPro, Hilary owned and operated a successful computer training and consulting business in the San Francisco Bay Area and was the owner and Training Manager of a New Horizons Computer Learning Center franchise in Ventura County for 10 years. Her students love her interactive, helpful and friendly manner and with her thorough understanding and use of adult learning concepts, not only learn the how but the practical application of the topics presented.

Chuck Magee

Chuck Magee, PMP

Chuck Magee is a senior instructor and consultant with extensive experience in project and program management focused on software implementations and technology consulting. His strengths are in Enterprise Project Management (EPM), multi-industry management consulting, and partner based solution sales/delivery.

His previous business experiences include: Project Manager for Microsoft Business Solutions; Director of Services at Teradyne; Manager and Executive Consultant for IBM Global Services; and Manager at KPMG Consulting. Chuck has held board positions for MPUG and PMI Chapters. Academically, he holds an MBA from Georgia State University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.

Aviva Carmen

Aviva Carmen, PMP

Aviva Carmen is a senior consultant and instructor in Microsoft Project and Project Server. Her expertise is in implementing PMOs for organizations, using best practices to successfully keep projects on track. Aviva started her career as a software engineer, moving into Program Management. She has worked with tech startups and large corporations, including IBM, EDS, KLA-Tencor, Adobe, Mervyns, Catholic Healthcare West and Charles Schwab Corporation. Most recently, she was Program Manager for a $40+ million dollar website redesign and rewrite, with 15,000 tasks, 200 resources and 1.5 million unique page hits per week.

Aviva has trained over 1,000 engineers and managers in Microsoft Project Server, in the United States, India and Israel. Aviva has a Bachelors degree from the University of Michigan.
